We're Going on a TREE HUNT!
We're going to "catch" a BIG ONE!
We're NOT AFRAID... (ha ha I couldn't help myself)
We're all actually pretty excited about it. We gathered up our
newborn baby and the rest of the family and headed to the local tree farm.
"Allison, welcome to the annual event of
Finding the Perfect Christmas Tree for the Flatten Family!"
Jonas was so excited he went ahead of us and checked out all of the trees himself!
At first he wanted to take each and every tree home... we told him only one. :)
After hugging each one, he decided this was THE ONE. We all examined the tree and
agreed it was the perfect tree for our Christmas.
We watched as the tree was trimmed and bundled. The kids were very interested!
I love the expression on both of their faces.
It is the PERFECT fit.
